Confidentiality of Children’s Worlds study children
The children and young people who are participating in the Children’s Worlds study willingly share with us a great deal of detailed personal information about their daily lives and their families, and we have a responsibility to protect their confidentiality. For this reason, the children’s names, if collected, do not appear in our publications and other outputs. The photos we use on this website are not the study children themselves. We ask website users to respect their confidentiality and not to try to identify the children, their families, or their communities.
Storage and use of personal information
Children’s Worlds is committed to protecting your privacy. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact us. In cases where you have provided Children’s Worlds with personal data, we may use this information to contact you in the future unless or until such a time that you say you do not wish us to do so.
Password-protected services
You are responsible for the safeguarding of any information, such as user names and passwords needed for use of your computer and/or your account with Children’s Worlds, and Children’s Worlds will not be responsible for any consequences of such information failing to be adequately safeguarded.
You should not enter information on behalf of another person or about any other person.
You are required to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure against unauthorised access to the service, in particular the use of user names and passwords by unauthorised individuals.
Password reminders and other information from the service will be sent to the e-mail address you have given.
