The 7th International Society of Child Indicators Conference
Children of the World: Touch of Change – The conference was held in August 2019,in Tartu, Estonia. The conference was very successful and full of sessions and discussions about the subjective well-being of children around the world.



The 6th annual conference of ISCI

The 6th annual conference of ISCI (the international society for child indicators) “Children in the world of opportunities: Innovations in research, policy and practice” will be held on June 28-30 2017 in Montreal, Canada.

Children’s Worlds were part of the organizers of the 3rd Child Well-Being Expert Consultation, hosted in Paris by the OECD on 24th-25th November 2015.


Malta’s first national conference on children’s well-being
Comparative and national findings from the data collection in Malta were presented in the 1st conference on children’s well-being, with the participation of the President of Malta on October 23 2015.


Special sessions in ISCI 5th conference in Cape Town
Three special sessions were dedicated to the second wave of data collection in the 5th conference of the International Society for Child Indicators in Cape Town on 2-4 September 2015


ISCWeB Asian findings symposium
The main findings of the four Asian participants countries of ISCWeB (Israel, Nepal, South Korea and Turkey) were presented in Seoul on May 21 2015.


The launch of the Children’s Worlds findings of the 6 European countries
The launch of the Children’s Worlds findings of the 6 European countries (Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain and the UK) took place on May 13 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

A meeting of all the Principal Investigators of the second wave of data collection was held at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey on April 24-25, 2014.

Several papers from the ISCWeB data collection in Spain were presented at the 11th conference of the International Society for Quality of Life Studies in Venice, Italy on November 1-4, 2012.

ISCWeB was hosted by The Children’s Society on 31 May – 1 June 2012 for a Roundtable seminar in the British Academy in London.
